HI girls, I am now able to post a photo of my mum's 70th Birthday card as it was her birthday celebration last week and I don't have to worry about her seeing her card on my blog!
I used my favourite card design which is basic black card blank with a whisper white insert which was edged with the Martha Stewart Dolly Lacce punch (I am expecting a delivery of these this week and will be selling them for £15.99!) I then used some scrap pieces of patterned paper and the nestabilites scallop die. I had some chipboard numbers which I heat embossed on gold and I finished the card off with a piece of gold ribbon and the two lovely butterfly stamps which I also heat embossed in gold. I love how clear and crisp the butterflies embossed which were FREE in a hostess set from the Stampin Up catalogue. Another gorgeous card Michelle - I'm sure your Mum loved it but I know from experience non crafters (not your Mum of course) don't always appreciate the thought and work involved in a handmade card or gift.
I agree with Vicki - I wish I could come to your open house! Its a great idea, but I'm in North Wales!! Oh well......
