I'm back, almost back to normal which is such a relief as a bad back is such a drag, I am just starting to get my mojo back and feel like creating again.

I used the yummy set in the one sheet box below.  I really love this stamp and is so great to use on your homemade gifts, especially with Easter coming up soon.

 

I used some double sided patterned paper but you could also stamp plain cardstock with your own stamped design.  I stamped the yummy stamp in chocolate chip ink on blush blossom cardstock and mounted in in chocolate chip.  I then stamped a little heart stamp from Simply said stamp set in pretty in pink as a subtle background.  I finished of the top with some chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon and stamped the love you sentiment which is from the sealed with a kiss stamp set.  It was a perfect gift for valentines day and I will use a different patterned paper and make some up for Easter! If anyone would like the template for the box just drop me an email.

K Werner Colour Inspiration #41

 

A bit of a quickie as I have a bad back and this is all I could manage.  I used whisper white, basic gray and basic black cardstock with real red ribbon and real red stampin write markers.  Of course I used the scallop edge border punch and punched all around the basic black cardstock to give a scalloped edge as per the new spellbinders nestabilities dies.  I used the flower vase stamp from the level 3 hostess set Window dressing and also the gorgeous snow flurries stamp set.  Hope you like it......

I am sure you will all agree that Stampin Up ribbon is really gorgeous but that you don’t always want to purchase large rolls and it is frustrating when you don't have the colour you need to match your project. 

 

The beauty of the Stampin Up ribbon is that it matches the cardstock, ink, patterned paper and embellishments exactly and means you are never stuck trying to find the right colour ribbon to match your projects.

If I purchase a roll of most of the colours and widths and split it between 6 of you, you can all have a good quantity of ribbon at a fraction of the cost.

 

So here is the detail –

 

For £26.00 per person including delivery (no ongoing commitment – one payment of £26 only) you will receive

 

One pair of paper snips (these are fantastic scissors, especially good at cutting ribbon with a crisp sharp cut)

 

¼” Grosgrain Ribbon – approx 2.3m each of the following four colours –

Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise, Elegant Eggplant

 

5/8” Grosgrain Ribbon – approx 2.3m each of the following four colours –

Old Olive, Brocade Blue, Regal Rose, Real Red

 

1” Stitched Ribbon – approx 1.5m each of the following two colours –

Rose Red and Bashful blue

 

Taffeta Ribbon(9.52mm wide) – approx 1.5m each of the following six colours –

Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Basic Gray, Mellow Moss, Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue

 

Gingham Ribbon(4.76mm wide) – approx 2.3m each of the following four colours –

Black, Red, Light Blue and Light Pink

  

So for 20 different types/colours of ribbon you are paying just over 50p per metre – what a bargain!!

K Werner Colour Inspiration #40

 

Supplies Used - Whisper White, more mustard and so saffron cardstock.  Die Cut Blooms, Petals & Paisley Patterned Paper, leaves cut out from the Petal Party Simply Scrappin Kits.  More Mustard ribbon and stamps from Sending Happy Thoughts and Alphabuts (both retired but still available but not for long!) , oh and also the  1/4" Square punch all from Stampin Up (and two little random buttons ;-))  Anyone ordering from me TODAY only can get free postage. Masculine Cards - We all know how difficult they are to make...

 

Here is one I made for our lovely friend Steve.  Simple, not too flowery but it had to have some ribbon but I was happy with the result.  I used the canvas stamp from Stampin Up which is much under-rated as far as I am concerned.  I am definitely going to use this stamp more often as it is great for background detail.  I also used Brocade basics and the sentiment was from Occasional Greetings.  The cardstock is all Stampin Up in Whisper White, Sahara Sand and Basic Black.  Not a scallop edge in sight - not like me at all!!
