Teacher Gifts

It's Dom's last day at school today so I had a frantic rush to make the teacher presents.  I bought a gift voucher from M&S and then made a thank you card using the Mixed Bouquet Stamp.  I stamped the image using versamark and then used the 'poppin pastels' technique to dust chalk over the versamark image.  It gives a lovely soft wispy effect and then I stamped the greeting with the Sincere Saluatations thanks so much stamp.  I also bought a bar of chocolate, removed the outer wrapper and covered it in the designer series double sided paper from Stampin' Up, made a scallop edge and added some ribbon.  What a lovely way to present a bar of choccie!   Looking forward to seeing some of you at the Padbury crop tomorrow......

Dominic's birthday cards

Here are a couple of the cards I have been making, I made both of these for my son Dominic and I originally made the blue one and then was blog hopping and saw this spinning frog card on Monica's blog (a fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator).  He was so cute I stayed up till midnight making it.  It is so easy too!  I used the Petals and Paisleys  double sided paper from Stampin Up and the Unfrogettable stamp set.  The dom and spots stamps are short order alphabet and the background stamp from the three for you punch box.  Dom had a great day despite the rain and is looking forward to his Airkix freefalling experience on Sunday - rather him than me!

Padbury Crop Sketch

This is the page I made using this months sketch.  I used some October Afternoon paper and cut-outs and Basic Grey Paper which I cut out and used for the floral motifs in the corner.  Thank you to Di for coming over and scrapbooking with me, I haven't scrapbooked in ages and I really enjoyed it.  She also gave me a beautiful green storage box to keep some supplies in - thanks again Di.

It's been quite the card making factory here over the last few days as I have so many birthdays coming up.  I will post more photo's tomorrow..........
